Volente Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1961 by the residents of the Volente area. We provide fire protection as well as Emergency Medical Response, as a part of the Travis County First Responders Organization. There has been massive growth in the area over recent years, and we look forward to ongoing expansion of our department in the future to better serve our area.

Volente Volunteer Fire Department / Travis County Emergency Services District 14 covers an area in NorthWestern Travis County, on the East side of Lake Travis (see map at ESD 14 button). It's boundaries roughly lie along and inside FM 620-FM 2769-Bullick Hollow Road-Lime Creek Road, and the banks of the lake itself. VVFD is a part of Lake Travis Task Force-1, and CRC Task Force-2.

VVFD has paid Firefighters/EMT's that man the station 24 hours a day, and many volunteers that respond 24/7. We welcome you to browse through our updated website and learn more about the VVFD, as well as the Village of Volente itself. Feel free to contact us with any questions or to inquire about joining.
